The BGCM Wellness Center operates as a trauma-informed facility, dedicated to providing direct client services. It is our driving principle that all people deserve the opportunity for improved mental health. Ensuring access to mental health education, counseling, and wellness support services are available in Malibu and the surrounding communities we serve, is key to improving health outcomes in our community. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to:
- Partnering with the local school district to provide social emotional learning for grades K-12th
- Bilingual services
- Services are tailored for historically marginalized individuals including but limited to: LGBTQ, immigrants, BIPOC, etc.
- Supporting faith-based organizations
- Providing resources and life skills workshops to the Latin community
- Maintaining and improving the mental well-being of the aging population
- Connecting with government agencies to achieve improved mental health in Malibu and beyond
