The Arts

We provide paths for our youth to access various forms of art in an environment where they can feel heard, valued, loved, and understood. This exposure builds confidence, creativity, and focus, providing a new way for youth to express themselves while building skills in the creative arts.

Arts & Crafts

Boys & Girls Club of Malibu encourages member creativity through instructor-led arts and crafts. Activities range from painting to collages to collaborative art projects and so much more. A wide variety of materials and tools are available to members; we always encourage members to explore their creativity!

Image Makers

ImageMakers is designed to help members go beyond snapshots and develop skills to take photographs that can really impact the viewer. The current popularity and accessibility of photography makes it a powerful means to engage youth of all ages in creative programming, while simultaneously teaching them skills they will use for the rest of their lives. ImageMakers provides the opportunity to participate in local art shows and contests, and eventually the ability to compete for wider recognition in the ImageMakers National Photography Contest.

3D Printing Workshop

In partnership with Genesis Labs at Pepperdine University, members can sign up to learn how to use 3D Printers. This important technology represents a bridge between STEM and the creative world. Club members gain the ability to learn about and operate this revolutionary tool.
